HEC-RAS Bridge Modeling
HEC-RAS can be used to model roadway crossings, which can consist of single or multiple bridge openings and culverts. This video tutorial details the steps necessary to model a single bridge opening for a roadway crossing. It describes the theory behind why HEC-RAS does specific things at roadway crossings and clarifies to the modeler why data needs to be defined in a particular way, per HEC-RAS’ requirements. By the end of this video tutorial, the user should feel equipped to define and model bridge roadway crossings with HEC-RAS.
